When serving the Unlawful Detatiner the documents will be personally served (if possible) to the occupant(s).  If the tenant(s) are available but will not take the documents they will be told they are getting servered and the documents will be left as close to the tenant as possible. Posting on the property will occur if all attempts (upto 5 attempts) at personal and substitute service fail. (usually posted to the door or in a obvious and easy place to observe and read) service will be complete after posting and 1st class mailing has been done. (with photo time and date stamped provided) Posting only done on first attempt if permission is given by the courts.
